Alec had a basket and Easter eggs waiting for him when he
came back from traveling last month. He enjoyed finding the eggs and said:"Yum!
Yum!" - - - Sometimes he thinks he needs to hide like the eggs as well. |

Alec is 22 months old this month and he is still growing like
a weed. His fascination with computers remains.
He's still loves pretending to type. His typing is often
followed by a frustrated sigh. (Mmm- - I wonder who he’s copying.) Alec
always insists to sit in front of a computer when Mom IS updating our webpage. Alec often sayS: ”Up peace. Peeeeace” (when
he wants to get up on a chair). He loves looking at pictures and videos
of himself and has this coy smile on his face every time he looks at them. Often, he points
at the monitor and says:
”Bay-bees! Bay-bees” or "Mooooom". |

Alec is such a joy. I would say
he communicates progressively. That is to say he answers the question
he wanted you to ask. For example, when we ask Alec: “Alec, shall we
take a bath?” He will usually answer something like “Go?????” |
|
"What do you want for lunch?"
"Caaarrr!!!!" "Alec, it's time to go
night-night!” “Daddy!” |

This month Alec learned how to walk around with flip-flops.
We were surprised how quickly he mastered it. Alec is also going back to his play group.
Unlike Wednesday morning play group he used to go, Dili International school
also teaches him art, play dough, reading story, singing and dancing.
Alec has to go for
four times a week from 1 - 4 p.m. I don't like the hours (because it
interferes with Alec's afternoon nap). But we all agreed that this is
a good way for Alec to communicate with friends his age (well, sort of,
