Chengdu

September 2000

Chengdu was Sean's 4th Post and the first post for us together.  We came to Chengdu in October 2000 and lived in little cozy apartment.  Within a year we adopted a shark-nose, rough hair collie named Astro and moved to a nicer house.  The house was 3 floors with a basement and a yard large enough for Astro to run around in.  Nancy came to visit just before Cheech started to work as a CLO and after she finished studying Chinese in one of the university there.  So, Nancy and Cheech had plenty of time to explore China even though Sean often couldn't go.  Here are some of the pictures we took when we wander around.  Also check out the panda section for great pictures of us with the bears.
