Text Box: December 2004 18 months old - Alec's verbal skill is expanding every month.  He is also learning how to make animal sounds.  Alec can moo like a cow, snort like a pig, "baah" like a goat and cluck like a chicken.  Potty training STILL in progress. Text Box: November 2004 17 months old - Alec's verbal skills are improving and he often copies other people's words and gestures..  Text Box: October 2004 16 months old - Extensive verbal skill.  Alec is a tattle tale this month!  Alec learned to spit after brushing his teeth.  Potty training in progress. Text Box: September 2004 15 months old - Amazing verbal skill !!!  Alec can say many words and is able to entertain him self with books, toys and even the office typewriter while Mom works!  Additional 2 teeth make a total of 18 teeth this month! Text Box: August 2004 14 months old - Alec has learned to say "Hi" and "Wow" in awe.  Alec loves to crawl like bear and see the world upside down.  16 teeth so far this month. Text Box: July 2004 13 months old - Alec is more mobile!  Alec learned to shake his index finger "No! No!"  And has learned to give "raspberries". Alec can also pronounce "Mom" correctly and Dad as "Da!" with a zeal.  Alec has 14 teeth this month. Text Box: June 2004 Happy Birthday, Alec!  Alec started walking without help on June first and was a walking machine by the end of the month. Our Little Man in 2004

Though Alec had lots of adventures in 2003, 2004 was filled with even more travels and fun things for Alec.  He started the new year with trips to see his Grandmas and Grandpas and lots of relatives both in the U.S. and Indonesia.  Alec still a happy baby that barely cry.  When he does, the cries are mellow and do not take on a more disturbing quality.  He is a very content baby.  Alec spent a lot of time on the beach while Mom and Dad were diving.  Alec finally started to walk 3 weeks before his birthday, but in matter of days he started to run and it became impossible for us to keep up with him.  His verbal skills is outstanding and he copies other people's words and gestures.  Click the picture below to see more of Alec's story organized by month. January
7 months old - Alec has 7 teeth and saying the first 2 words: ba-ba-ba-ba and ma-ma-ma-ma.  In his walker, Alec is a walking machine!

8 months old - Alec starts  to crawl.

  

March
9 months old - Alec drinks out of a straw.  Alec has 8 teeth this month

May
11 months old - Alec takes his first steps (without help!).  Alec has 12 teeth this month.
   

April
10 months old - Alec is cruising, climbing up and down on anything.  Alec has 9 teeth this month.
